    to wife Ann, over and above her jointure, messuage or tenement in own occupation in Cardington called “the Black and White House” with the grounds buildings etc And use of all plate, brass, pewter, “linnen bedds, bedding, household goods and furniture of household” for life. Then to son Haselden Pemberton one silver tankard, Then residue to daughter Elizabeth Pemberton 1 moiety And John and Haselden Pemberton (2 sons) 1 moiety. To son John messuage and farm and the arable lands in Wootton and Marston in occupation of Widow Peirce her assigns or undertenants. subject to paying annuity of £30 to wife Ann for life. (This is in addition to her furniture), power to distrain if not paid. Also subject to payment of £500 to son Haselden Pemberton to be paid when 21. Also subject to payment of £500 to daughter Elizabeth at 21 but rents etc. of Wootton and Marston to be used for their maintenance and education till legacies payable. Out of Wootton and Marston estate £200 to be paid to Haselden and Elizabeth to be paid within 12 months of death Residue of estate to Ann who is appointed executrix and trustee and guardian of all the children during their minorities but if she dies before they are 21 Then the following to be guardians of the children:- Reverend Collins of Cardington; Mr Sclater of Wootton; Thomas Day of Bedford, alderman and Mr Marks of Warwick, court haberdasher of small wares. Testator to be buried in Wootton Church “in a decent manner privately without pomp” Witnesses: Elizabeth Pemberton, Thomas Peacock, Richard Luke
