From William Gee, Walworth to J. Garrard, esq., Olney, Buckinghamshire. Since Thomas was fixing a chimney piece near Hitchen/Hitchin he was advised to go on to Wellingborough about chimney pieces he has in hand for Mr Wilson. Has much business in hand, especially marble work "Marble is now become so scarce and so dear 'tis a hard matter to get at it.". Asks for loan of £20 - 3s. for 2 or 3 months.
