Photocopies of correspondence in December 1953 relating to the purchase of additional ground for a graveyard extension at Kensworth Methodist Church. The proposal was initially resisted by Methodist Church Department for Chapel Affairs at Manchester, but supported by Rev Richard Brook, circuit superintendent, because of special circumstances. Includes a copy of the site plan (Luton Rural District Council Plan No.6460/LRDC/TP/53/163). Also a copy of a letter from the Department for Chapel Affairs dated 13 November 1956 concerning the proposed purchase by Kensworth of an electronic organ. Papers included in notes used to compile circuit history in 1992.
