    “Lord have mercy on my soul” Gives specific instructions for burial “by broad daylight” “without pall bearers” and for grave. To housekeeper Elizabeth Warner £600, the furniture of her room, all linen, tea table and tea furniture in fore parlour, 2 best silver spoons with crest, and all the chairs with black frames. To friend Christopher Theed of Inner Temple 20 guineas. To parish poor of Southill (birth place) £50. To poor of Ampthill 50/- worth of bread bought “of my usual baker Mansfield”. To nephew Dr. Thomas Osborn, minister of Clifton, books, pictures; ebony cabinet “adorned outwardly with tortoiseshell and inwardly painted upon copper or brass”: and lands freehold and copyhold to well and divide the proceeds between nephews Captain Henry Osborn, himself, and younger nephew John Kelyng, only son of nephew William Kelyng.
