In default of heirs to John and Elizabeth property goes to children of sister Sarah Payne. Suitable provision is to be made for sister Mary. Witnesses: Samuel Burrows, Clophill; John White Burrows, Clophill; George Austin, Shefford. Codicil: substituting as executors William Payne of St Albans, grocer, Edward Payne, (both nephews), and friend John Burroughs of Clophill, millwright.
