    ... (Bequeaths to his wife Mary household furniture to value of £30). Devises to said Mary, his messuage (in 3 tenements) formerly in occupation of John Parkins, William Groom and Richard Wittington, and now of John Vincent, [blank] Groom widow, and James Dillingham, in Flitwick; also a close (3 acres) in Flitwick, formerly in occupation of John Parkins and now of John Vincent; also a messuage in Maulden in occupation of William Plummer; and all other his real estate; for natural life, and after her decease, to son Joseph Caulcutt. (formerly known as Eli Caulcutt) and daughter Mary Caulcutt, in trust for sale, and to be converted into money securities and added to his personal estate, which he bequeaths to the said trustees, in trust for payment of debts etc., and dividends to said wife for natural life, and then for division amongst his children, the said Joseph and Mary, and Robert and Caleb Caulcutt (taking into account £170 already advanced to the said Caleb, which must be “brought into hotchpot” and accounted for, otherwise he is to entirely excluded).
