that she was in the service of Joseph Morris of Ampthill (brother of John Morris), who died in 1827; that she remembers the marriage of Sophia (eldest daughter of said John Morris) to Henry Ashby of Staines (county Middlesex), on 6 May 1818, at the Meeting House of the Society of Friends at Ampthill; that she was present at the birth of Morris Ashby (the 1st son of said marriage) on 17 May 1819; and that Sophia Ashby died on 6 January 1830
