Also a farmhouse, with appurtenant lands, viz: a close called the Acres and Hill (1 acre), with the College lands NE,, Casie Crofts SE., Stranges land SW., and the common green NW.; 2 closes called Cufflies (5 acres), with the common lane leading to Upper Samshill SW., the College lands NW. and NE., and Wheat Close SE.; Wheat Close or Corn Close (3 acres); a close with a spinney (formerly 2 closes), called Casey Croft and Hodge Tree Close (14 acres); a close with a spinney (formerly 2 closes called Clarks and Long Crofts, containing 8 acres); Guinea Pightle (½ acre); and a close called Half Pightle (3 acres), opposite Cobbs, with a lane to Gubbins Wood NW., the lane NE., the College land SE., and the common lane to Upper Samshill SW.; (all together containing34 acres).
