(ii) Thomas Empy of Bedford plumber & glazier. -- Messuage in Turvey formerly occupied by John Hulatt, now divided into 2, occupied by William Woodin and John Law; Home close (2 acres) adjoining; purchased by William Skevington from Geary Ball of Olney, lacebuyer, 8 and 9 July 1783. Plot of ground lately enclosed in Gravel field (15 acres), bounded west and part of south by allotments to Lavender Fowler and to the Earl of Peterborough, north by the Earl of Peterborough, east William Skevington, deceased, part of south by road from Stocker's end to Sharp's close gate.
