    ... Devises to wife Hannah, his messuage in Ampthill (in occupation of Tomas Underwod for term of 60 years), for life; and then to John Quait (grandson); and, failing issue, to granddaughter Elizabeth Quait. To said Elizabeth Quait, a cottage and pightle in Bury End, in Eversholt, in occupation of Stephen Hollowman, (for residue of term); and, failing issue, to John Quait. To son George Wainwright, his messuage called the “Cross Keys” in Ampthill, late in occupation of Lucy Green; charged with payment of annuities and legacies to wife Hannah, and grandchildren, Susan, Thomas and Nicholas Hull. To George Wainwright and wife Ruth, the messuage in which William Wainwright dwells, in Bury End in Eversholt, with closes and orchard belonging, and 2 acres in Stonehill Field in Eversholt (purchased of Henry Goldsmith).
