    ...A messuage in Ampthill, formerly in occupation of William Wainwright and William Hutchison, and now in that of Thomas Boughton, between the messuage of Thomas Hollingworth on S., and the cottage formerly of Charles Dymoke on N., and the common street on W.; and also a close called the Hill Ground, and 2 leys belonging, together with part of the hopground (5 acres) lying on the N. of the said Hill Ground and at the lower end of the yard belonging to the messuage now in the tenure of Widow Gale, next to Dunstable Street, the whole lying together between the ground formerly in tenure of Richard Saunders on S., and formerly of Thomas Evans, glover, on N.; and also a way through a piece of ground formerly called the yard of Richard Fowkes, grocer, and now of Widow Gale, called the”Compasses”, lying near Dunstable Street, with the highway from Ampthill to Dunstable on W., into the aforesaid hopground etc. Witnesses: John Smith and John Smith junior
