Agreement and Bond

(i) John Odell of PixhillPictshill?, Stevington, yeoman, son and heir, and executor of John deceased. (ii) Hannah Odell widow and executrix of John deceased. Recites Bond: John deceased to Henry Raymond of Warkton, Northamptonshire, for £300, 24 October 1673, with provisor that 3 years after John's marriage with Hannah, he should settle his property on her; this he did not do. Recites will GA1731. Differences have arisen. John agrees to pay Hannah £300, and £100 after birth of child; if the child dies £50 to Hannah, and £50 shall be referred to the award of Thomas Christie of Bedford, gentleman and Robert Guy of Isham, Northamptonshire. Hannah is not to meddle in the executorship except when asked to by John, and is to have no other money goods except those mentioned above and except the household goods listed in the schedule attached. Witnesses: Henry Raymond, (others illegible).
