(iii) Robert Willows of Shefford fellmonger, son of Thomas Willows, deceased. (iv) Mary Carter of the same widow, daughter of Thomas Willows, deceased. (v) John Proctor of Leighton Buzzard grocer, and Edward Ashwell of the same ironmonger. Recites Will of Thomas Willows senior 26 June 1697:- To son Thomas, cottage in Shefford occupied by testator, meadow adjoining, lying between the house and the river, and also cottage occupied by William Parker and widow Munns; To son John, cottage in Shefford occupied John Meager and Daniel Bishop, and cottage at Deadman's Cross,Hawnes, occupied John Richardson, close (20acres) adjoining occupied Richard Wheeler; 2 cottages in Stanford, Southhill, occupied Edward Jefferson and Thomas Miles; cottage and close in Southhill occpied by Moses Wray; close Lying near Cross of Hand in Little Broom occupied by John Barker. To wife Mary: cottage in Langford, 4 acres Land, 3 acres pasture adjoing occupied Robert Easton; cottage in Shefford occupied Robert Payne; Hog meadow, Shefford occupied Thomas Squire; 2 acres in Midsummer meadow, occupied Jonathon Rowley; 8 acres meadow in the Common close, Shefford, and in the meadow on the other side of Rolph's house,occupied by John Cuumberland, George Sampson and George Fenell; and lands in Stewkley, Buckinghamshire; to hold in trust for son Robert until he is 21. -- all the properties mentioned in the will.
