    Shillington, High Road (originally Wesleyan)

    First chapel built in Church Street, Shillington in 1840, which later became the Liberal Hall. A larger chapel was built in the High Road in 1872 with a room for the Sunday School behind the chapel. Two adjoining cottages were acquired and a much larger Sunday School was built in 1897. Combined with Bury Road Methodist Church (originally Primitive) to become Shillington Methodist Church in 1996. Closed 2004.
