  • Scope and Content
The magazine always contained association and college news. To see the type of contents look at an entry for one of the early editions where the full contents have been listed. After 1927 the magazine no longer included a contents page and from then on the catalogue only picks out particularly unusual or topical references. News of ex-staff and students took up increasing amounts of space and this news, along with the birth, marriage and death notices, can be used to track the careers of these women, unfortunately too numerous to index fully. Therefore those wishing to use this source should first establish when the person they are interested in was at the college and then look at the magazines for the relevant time period after they left. Reports of lectures and other educational matters were generally included in the magazine but creative writing came and went depending on the period. From number 71, Spring 1964, the magazine became a shadow of its former self and is almost all updates on former students.
