(ii) Edward Knight of Carlton gentleman. -- Messuage or farmhouse in Carlton, formerly occupied by William Knight deceased, now by Gideon Rudd, with close adjoining; Linch close; 18 feet meadow in Chellington meadow in the 1st dole; 3 acres land, 2 acres meadow, in Branchmead field, with a little close at the south end, lying together on Hodson's house furlong, abuting Reaner's land, and Endway; 1 acre meadow in Wignoe meadow, on the 3rd dole, and 1 acre in the 4th dole; which were part of the inheritence of Gideon Fisher, and were conveyed to John Knight by him, his wife Judith and son Gideon, also 3 half acres in Branchmead field, abutting up to Carlton Street, 3 rods shooting to Branchmead, 5 rods shooting to Piper's way; in Moor field, 2 acres shooting into the meadow; 1 acre in Linch, 7 rods shooting into Wignoe meadow, 1/2acre shooting up to the Moor; in Church field, 5 rods shooting into the marsh, 1 acre in Middle furlong, 5 rods in Nermeth furlong, 2 acres in Houfold furlong, 1 acre in Oaken furlong; 5 rods in Chellington meadow, 3 rods 4 1/2 feet in Wignoe meadow, 28 feet in Nun meadow.
