    -- The ‘Star’ Inn, Chalgrave, in the occupation of Thomas Crookey -- close adjoining, also Pitts Close, Chalgrave. -- 10 acres in Chalgrave, Wingfield and Tebworth fields. Elizabeth Gilbert is deceased without issue, Valentina Aynscombe [now wife of Lilley Smith – crossed out] is great niece and heir at law, but she is not of age. John Maire deposes that at time of decease of Elizabeth Gilbert, draft conveyance was prepared for re-conveyance of the property to Thomas Crookey. Mrs Gilbert gave residue of her personal estate to John Maire, who with Thomas Pitt are exexcutors, John Maire, Thomas Pitt and Thomas Crookey petition that £300 due on mortgage shall be paid to John Maire.
