  • Scope and Content
    in consideration of marriage of William Barber and Elizabeth Oliver Luke to pay Sir Humfrey Winche £500, and bond for £500 more after death of Dame Elizabeth Luke. in trust to pay interest to Elizabeth during joint lives of William Barber and Elizabeth if she dies without heirs £1000 to revert to Oliver Luke and heirs, otherwise to be divided among her heirs if they survive her seven years, with reversion as before. Oliver Luke to purchase lands to value of £100 within 60 miles of Cople and settle same on Elizabeth for life with reversion to Heirs of William Barber and Elizabeth. William Barber is to make provision for child born after his death William Barber to give Warrant of Attorney to acknowledge a judgment of £6000 to Sir Humfrey Winche which is intended as a security. Witnesses: Thomas Chaplin, Thomas Christie, William Bowles, George Hews.
