  • Scope and Content
Edward Platt, Lidlington, to Mr Garrard. Since it is the wish of the proprietors to carry out the enclosure after the manner of the Kempston enclosure, he explains the way that was carried out. The Act was obtained by the proprietors at their own expense. Commissioners surveyed and valued property, set out roads, drains and allotments and furnished plans. Proprietors met expenses of Clerk, and of drawing, engrossing and enrolling award, and of copies, and also of putting into repair the public roads, drains and fencing. Would like a meeting of the Commissioners with Solicitor and Surveyor at Swan Inn, Newport Pagnell, any day in the week after next.
