    -- reversion (on death of Elizabeth Horne, widow, formerly relict of George Knowles; and of Ann, wife of Edward Snoxell senior of Dunstable, yeoman; formerly relict of George Green, and only child and heir of George Knowles) of:- -- a messuage in the Middle Row in South Street, Dunstable, late in the occupation of George Knowles, now Elizabeth Horne; abutting south on a messuage late in the occupation of Alice Stanbridge, widow, now William Norris, east on the street, north on a messuage late in the occupation of Henry Goodspeed, now George Oliver; and fronting backwards on Ironmongers lane otherwise Mordike; -- a cottage in Pudding lane alias Poaching lane; late in the occupation of Joseph Impey, now John Eames; abutting west on ground of late George Knowles, south on Ironmongers lane; -- close of 1½ acres called St. Mary’s close, heretofore in the occupation of Thomas Seare, late Henry Norman; abutting east and south on land late Thomas Aynscombe esquire, now Lillie Aynscombe esquire, west on the Butts, north on Ironmongers lane; Witnesses: Edward Snoxell, Thomas Foulkes. 14 April 1773. Endorsed: release by Thomas Read and William Balls to Edward Snoxell; recites that John Green paid principal and interest shortly before his death, and by his will 30 October 1787 devised his freehold and copyhold property in Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Caddington and Kensworth to his brother-in-law Edward Snoxell of Dunstable, farmer; Witnesses: John Hooper, Crasby Jenkinson. 12 March 1788
