A1, Astwick, Edworth and Stotfold Plans of the realignment of the carriageway from the County boundary with Hertfordshire to Newsping Farm, Biggleswade. These plans probably relate to the hauncing and kerbing work on this section of road sub-contracted by the County Council on behalf of the Ministry of Transport in 1951. See Section 2, County Surveyor's Report, 13 October 1951 (Ref: Hi/V/160). The plans are extremely detailed in recording roadside features as buildings, embankments and verges.
