- Scope and ContentMagistrates: George P Livius, C C Beaty Pownall, William Shove Chalk. 33 prisoners in custody. The Governor is confined to his room. The Transports were removed to Millbank Penetentiary on Thursday last by Coombs the Chief Constable of Bedford and Mr Treganza'a son. George Smith was reported by the medical Superindendent of Millbank Prison not fit to be received, he being afflicted with the itch - and he was in consequence brought back - see Surgeons journal. The matron is confined to her room. It appears that a child 3 years of age is sent to the prison with the mother. Ordered that John Bettles, committed for trial be kept in a ward seperate from George Church and Isaac Church - all committed on the same charge. Ordered that the transpotr be removed to no.1 sleeping cell and be employed in the day in cell adjoining.
