Magistrates: George Peter Livius, Charles Moore. 27 prisoners in custody. There were 12 prisoners in custody this time last year. One of the convicts named David Humphries is reported by the surgeon growing weaker and he has asked permission to walk in the garden at the back of the prison. This request is refused as the air in the large yard to which he is removed is prefereable to any other part of the prison.
