Agreement between Sarah Abbot of Ruxox Farm, Flitwick, widow, and John Peter Kempson Abbot her son of the one part and William Hensman and William Hensman the younger both of Woburn of the other part. Cites terms of HN4/2/61a. The parties have mutually agreed to vary the terms of the said apprenticeship in the manner hereinunder mentioned: This agreement witnesseth that in consideration of a further premium of twenty pounds the said William Hensman and William Hensman the younger in hand on the day of the date hereof paid by Sarah Abbot the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge they the said William Hensman and William Hensman the younger do hereby agree with the said Sarah Abbot and John Peter Kempson Abbot her son…that they will well and truly pay or cause to be paid to the said John Peter Kempson Abbot the wages following; eight shillings weekly and every week during the third year of his said apprenticeship and the sum of ten shillings weekly during the fourth and last year thereof in satisfaction of his board and lodging and all other necessaries.
