    Apprenticeship Indenture: George Frederick Felton son of George Felton of Cumming Street, Pentonville, County of Middlesex, Gentleman, by and with the consent of his said father testified by his executing these presents gamekeeper, apprentice to William Robert Mesham of Woburn, surgeon and apothecary. From the day of the date hereof for the term of seven years or until the apprentice shall attain the age of 21 years. William Robert Mesham in consideration of the services of the said George Frederick Felton to be rendered to him the said William Robert Mesham during the term of seven years and also in consideration of five shillings paid to him by the said George Felton on or before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt thereof he doth hereby acknowledge His said apprentice in the art and science of a surgeon and apothecary which he useth by the best means that he can shall teach and instruct or cause to be taught and instructed finding unto the said apprentice sufficient meat drink and lodging during the said term. George Felton doth hereby agree with William Robert Mesham to find and provide for his said son George Frederick Felton sufficient and proper clothes washing and all other necessaries (except as before mentioned) during all the said term.
