Apprenticeship Indenture: William Foxley, son of Benjamin Foxley of Toddington, victualler by and with consent of his said father testified by his being a party to and executing these presents doth put himself apprentice to John Dumpleton of Woburn, tailor.

Apprenticeship Indenture: William Foxley, son of Benjamin Foxley of Toddington, victualler by and with consent of his said father testified by his being a party to and executing these presents doth put himself apprentice to John Dumpleton of Woburn, tailor. From the 25 May 1825 for the term of six years. John Dumpleton in consideration of the sum of Thirty five pounds to be paid to him by the said Benjamin Foxley at or before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge His said apprentice in the art and trade of tailor and habitmaker which he useth by the best means that he can shall teach and instruct or cause to be taught and instructed finding unto the said apprentice sufficient meat drink and lodging and the making and mending of coats, waistcoats and breeches during the said term. Benjamin Foxley doth hereby agree to find and provide for his said son sufficient and necessary clothes washing and all other necessaries (except meat drink and lodging which is to be found by the said John Dumpleton as aforesaid) during all the said term.
