- Scope and ContentApprenticeship Indenture: William Tite (son of George Tite of Northampton, baker and Rebecca his wife late Rebecca Bennett, spinster) by and with the consent of his grandfather Edward Bennett of Wavendon in the County of Buckingham carpenter and builder certified by his executing these presents, apprenticed to Robert Souster of Fenny Stratford, plumber, glazier and painter. From 1 April now last past for the term of seven years. Robert Souster in consideration of the sum of twenty pounds to be paid to him by the said Edward Bennett at or before the sealing and delivery hereof (the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge) His said apprentice in the art or trade of a plumber & glazier which he useth by the best means that he can shall teach and instruct or cause to be taught and instructed finding unto the said apprentice sufficient meat drink washing and lodging during the said term. Edward Bennett doth hereby agree to find and provide for the said apprentice sufficient clothes and all other necessaries for her said son (except meat drink washing and lodging which are to be found by Robert Souster) during all the said term. Signed & sealed: William Tite; Edward Bennett; Robert Souster. Witnesses: John Green of Woburn; William Harland, his clerk. Receipt on dorse for £20 signed by Robert Souster.
