    Authorisation of William Roberts of Woburn, joiner and cabinet maker, to Mr Thomas Day to deliver to Joseph Sibthorpe of Aspley Guise, cordwainer a certain Indenture of Apprenticeship bearing date 28 October 1817 whereby Joseph Sibthorpe the younger son of the said Joseph Sibthorpe the elder became bound to serve William Roberts as an apprentice from 29 September then last past for the term of seven years in order that the same Indenture may be cancelled. In order that the said William Roberts may release and forever discharge Joseph Sibthorpe the elder and Joseph Sibthorpe the younger from the said Indenture of Apprenticeship and all service and other matters and things in the said Indenture contained …to the day and date hereof and which the said William Roberts consents to do. Joseph Sibthorpe the elder for and on behalf of his said son do and each of them doth consent to accept the said Indenture to be cancelled.
