Court Baron of Gertrude, Duchess of Bedford, Caroline, Duchess of Marlborough and Robert Palmer esq., devisees of the late John, Duke of Bedford. Samuel Davis gentleman, steward. Admission of Richard Davis of Cranfield, glover on conditional surrender, 19 March 1766, by William Goodred of Cranfield and Elizabeth Edens of Stonton, (sic), Buckinghamshire, spinster, on payment of £20, which was not repaid. Therefore the surrender is absolute.
