Messuage with malt house, kiln and kiln house, and new built dovehouse and barn, in St John Street, Bedford; 1/2 acre pasture adjoining; 38 acres arable and sward in common fields of St Marys parish, Bedford, as in BS 1833. Cites BS 1833 and 1851 - 1855. Elizabeth White being dead, £538 is due to William Bedford. The money paid to John White [see BS 1853] by William Bedford was part of the personal estate of Peter Hazlewood, devised to Sarah, wife of William Bedford, and is part of a legacy to daughter Sarah Hazlewood under her father's will. William Bedford now wishes to assign the sums of £400, £100 and £38 due to daughter Sarah Hazlewood as part satisfaction of the legacy. William Bedford to Sarah Hazlewood with consent of John Willis.
