  • Title
Certificate of Justices of the Peace, confirming that on 24 April 1837 they viewed the highway (2790 yards in length) commencing at the NW corner of Farley Green at the south corner of Three Cornered Field, the property of Samuel Crawley esquire, at the point where the road turns off to Caddington, and ending at the north corner of Runley Wood and Runley Wood Fields, the property of John Pedley esquire, where it enters the bridle road leading from Luton towards Dunstable, and that it appeared to them to be unnecessary. It had not been used as a public highway for many years, and there are 2 other roads parallel to it, one on each side, within a very short distance. Proof has been given to them of the consent of the inhabitants of the parish of Caddington, the township of Luton and the hamlet of Limbury cum Biscott, and the required notices had been duly published.
