- Title“ The case of Heylock Kingsley esquire, relating to imparking open field lands. Mr Brittain about 24 years ago built a house on part of the Hasells lands. Mr Kingsley has bought it, and intends to enlarge the house and grounds. The latter are now 1 acre – he wishes to add 12 acres, but there will be enough common left “the commonable places in Sandy being of a very large extent” Can he do this, or can the commoners pluck down his enclosures, or could they grant their commons to him? Opinion of John Comyns is that he can do it if there is sufficient common left
