- Scope and ContentWife Sarah, son John and John Usher Taylor, St Ives, Huntingdonshire, chemist & druggist, appointed trustees and executors. To said John Usher Taylor, £15 on acceptance of the trust. To wife Sarah, furniture, plate, wines, wearing apparel (his and hers) To trustees, freehold property in Blunham and residue of personal estate in trust for sale. After payment of debts etc, remainder to be invested. With consent of wife, trustees can vary the investment. Interest to wife for life. After her death: half in trust for daughter Sus. [sic], wife of Alfred Anthony, Hastings, Sussex; half for son, John Usher. Trustees to have power to sell copyhold estate and to apply proceeds in like manner. Codicil: proposed equal division of residuary estate to 2 children, Sarah and John, cancelled in consequence of the considerable advances I have made to or for the benefit of my said daughter .. would not be just towards my said son.. so now £700 to son, half residue to daughter Sarah Anthony, other half to son, John.
