- Scope and ContentReciting will of William Grant of 27 April 1752:- to wife Mary Grant for life, copyhold property in Blunham; after her death, to go to William Field, son of Henry and Anne, or if he predeceased her, then to all the other children of said Henry and Anne; if William Field or heirs should sell any property, then should pay £100 to nearest heirs. Wife, Mary Grant, appointed executrix. Reciting admission of said William Grant to copyhold land held of Manor of Blunham, purchased of Matthew Tatnam [Tatman], 3 Aug 1758. Said William Field died 6 months after William Grant, under age and unmarried. He was only child of Henry and Anne. Anne Field, sister of said William Grant, was heir at law to said property bought after date of his will. Said Anne was admitted to copyhold property, 11 May 1764. As regards freehold property, reciting: - lease and release of 7 and 8 Aug [LS706-707] - covenant to levy fine of 28 Jan 1765 [LS712] - indentures of fine [LS713]
