- Scope and ContentDavid Robinson: a dealer in straw plait who lived at Flamstead and he attended Luton market. He was at the market at Luton on 18 March and while he was there he lost a bunch of improved plait. It had been on his stall at the market. The plait produced was part of that which he had lost and was tied with Brazilian grass. PC Richard Lambert: on Monday 18 Match he searched Gibbs home and found a quantity of plait. Among it, in an upstairs bedroom, he found a bunch of plait. He asked Gibbs where he had got it from and was told from the market but he did not know from whom. Statement of the accused: not guilty.
