David Snoxall: a dealer in straw plait and he attended the market at Luton. He was at the market on 18 February and he lost a bag of plait from under the George gateway. He lost about 100 score on that day. The plait produced was plain improved plait and he had only 25 scores of that sort of plait on that day. It was tied with white tape. PC Richard Lambert: on 18 March he searched the prisoner’s house and found plait upstairs underneath the floor. Statement of the accused: he was not guilty.
