- Scope and Contentto wife Ann, executrix, for life, a new-built cottage in Sandy called the Maiden head, in own occupation, (excluding dovehouse, garden and orchard), late purchased of John Richardson; also garden ground, part of a close, 1 rood, divided with a pale fence from the W. end of the brewhouse, within 1 foot of a young walnut tree on the ground late of John Blewitt and wife Margaret; abutting E. on Humphrey Monoux esquire, N. on yard of William Randall, S. on yard of Richard Bishop; testator purchased this with yard from John Blewitt 15, 16 June 1750; then to daughter Mary Smith, widow, for life; then to grandson William Randall (remainder to grandson Matthew Randall, 3rd son of son William) also to wife Ann cottage in Sandy purchased of John and Margaret Blewitt for life; then to son John; to son William dovehouse, garden and close, ½ acre, purchased of John and Margaret Blewitt, with residue of lands in Sandy, Girtford and Everton; charged with annuity of £9 per annum to wife Ann; to son John £100 to be paid by son William out of said premises; Witnesses: Wenham Smith, John Millard, Thomas R Rayment
