- Scope and ContentWilliam Baldry: he had a quantity of faggots in a field in the parish of Sandy. He lost a hundred of them. On 18 July he saw Fanny Shearman. George Dennis: on 18 July he saw Fanny Shearman carry away a faggot from one of Baldry’s heaps in a field in Sandy. He was within a chain of her at the bottom of Peacock’s Rye. Since seeing Mrs Shearman he had seen Mary Yourby take some faggots away from the field belonging to Baldry. He saw her about 3 times but did not count how many faggots she had. He thought she had 3 each time.
