Luton Primitive Circuit
Admin/biog history
The Primitive Methodists came to Luton and built their first Church in 1839. The Circuit was founded in 1843 as an offshoot of Aylesbury Circuit. It was divided into Luton I (High Town) and Luton II (Park Town) Circuits in 1879 [see MB1/LP1 and MB1/LP2].

- Bendish (Herts), from 1860, subsequently Luton II
- Breachwood Green (Herts), from 1860, closed by 1879

- Eggington, until c.1858
- Harpenden, Southdown Rd (Herts), disappears by 1858, reappears c.1865, new chapel built 1868, subsequently Luton II
- Houghton Regis, Dunstable Primitive Circuit from 1866
