    Mortgage (Second), £200: (i) Daniel Berry of Felmersham, gentleman (nephew and devisee named in the last will of John Berry, late of Felmersham, gentleman, deceased) and his wife Mary (only child and heir-at-law of Daniel Berry, of Colchester Street, Whitechapel, Distiller, deceased, only son and heir of John) (ii) William Staines of Biddenham, gentleman. A messuage or farmhouse and other property in Felmersham and London [as in BS 1589, which is recited]. Recites: That commons in Felmersham have since been enclosed by act of Parliament; that in lieu of the lands mortgaged the Commissioners have assigned a parcel of land in the south Field of Felmersham (63 acres 1 rood 16 perches); Occupiers of lands adjoining: Daniel Berry, William Beal, poor widows of Felmersham, Sir Thomas Alston, Richard Brooks, Elizabeth Brooks, Elizabeth Woolston, the Master Fellows and Scholars of Trinity College Cambridge.
