    Formed 1880 when Luton Wesleyan Circuit divided into two. After unification of Wesleyan and Primitive Methodists in 1932 Luton Primitive and Wesleyan Circuits were combined and divided into Luton "A" and High Town Circuits. Chapels: Aley Green; Batford (Herts) (from 1905); Chaul End; Flamstead; Gaddesden Row; Harpenden, High Street (new building 1930); ? Hexton; Kinsbourne Green; Limbury (closed 1896); Luton, Albert Road (replaced by Bailey Hill in 1898); Luton, Bailey Hill (from 1898); Luton, Chapel Street; ? Luton, Church Street (demolished 1921); Luton, Dallow Road (from 1904); Luton, Dunstable Road (from 1908); Markyate; Studham; Wheathampstead, Cold Harbour (from 1884, replaced by Batford in 1905)
