    Letter from John Philip Kipling of Leighton Buzzard to William Drake Rayment, sheriff's officer - asks him to strike out name of William Herbert Bennett from the petty jury list for 18 October. Bennett is a brewer in the service of Mr Reeve who at this time is very ill. The loss of Bennett's service would be a great inconvenience. Reply from William Drake Rayment states that he does not have the power to strike out the name but will lay Kipling's letter before the court when Bennett's name is called.
