Letter to A. J. Gardner of Woburn Abbey from Swaffield & Son of Ampthill: “With reference to your instructions through Mr. Hulatt to redeem your Corn Rent on your land at Pulloxhill. We have heard from the Ministry this morning that they have fixed the redemption money at £10:14:9 plus £2:14:6 their fees. If you have any objections to raise in the matter they must be notified before the end of the month. You will notice that no money is required to be paid at the moment and that a further notification will be sent. We enclose herewith the papers in the matter in order that you may see the position, and if you have anything to say please let us hear from you in the course of the next few days. If not we shall notify them that you raise no objection”
