Devises to wife Mary for life messuage wherein he dwells, together with malting, barns, stables etc., and close of 3 acres, and all furniture now standing in room next gatehouse; and then to Henry Clarke of Woburn innholder, in trust for
daughter Abigail. In case of her death payments to various persons:
Sons-in-law John Bro -- (£20); Martin Brett (£10); Edward Brett (£5);
daughter Mary Davis (£10);
brother William Selwin (£20); his sons John, William, Nathaniel (£10, 1s., and £5 respectively); his daughters Elizabeth & May
(£10 and £5);
Francis Stevens (£10);
Frances Selwyn daughter of brother Richard (£10) and after her death to her brother Richard;
godchildren Henry Clarke senior & junior (£10 each), Susan Clarke (£10), Jane West daughter William Simms £5.
