    Reciting: Lease and Release of 13/14 October 1815 1) William Willcox and Matthew Wilcox 2) i) above 3) ii) above Consideration of £150 paid by i) to1) Bargain and sale William Wilcox to i), Messuage with limitation to ii) whereas: i) erected messuage whereas: Lease and release of 10/11 August 1824 1) i) above 2) iii) above Consideration of £400 by iii) to i) with limitation to iii) with interest of 5% per annum from 11 February 1824/5 whereas: Sum of £400 due whereas: Contract for Sale by i) to iv) of messuage, at £75, including fee simple and inheritance whereas: Agreed between i) and iii) that i) pay iii) £50 in full discharge of all principal and interest charged upon parts of hereditaments in indenture of 10/11 August 1824 whereas: iv) desirous to convert use of messuage This Indenture Witnesseth: In consideration of 50 pounds paid by iv) to iii) in full discharge and satisfaction of all principal and interest due iii) acquit, release and discharge i) and iv) and in consideration of £25 paid by iv) to i) makes the aggregate sum of £25, which is the sum paid by iv) to i) by which iv) is acquitted, released and discharged. In consideration also of 10s paid by iv) to ii), iii) hath bargained and sold, as hath ii) bargained and sold, to iv): so that by bargain and sale, i) ii)and iii) grant to iv) in consideration of 5s a piece on lease of 1 June 1827 for 1 year made for transfer of uses into possession ... messuage in Ampthill, in occupation of Thomas Stapleton, with ground (27 perches) situated in Ampthill Warren S.E. footpath and barrow way from private road on N.E. part of allotment in occupation of i) N.E. messuage or tenement in occupation of John Clark, since of John Page, and now of Benjamin Bonney, lately purchased by Henry Lytton – Earl N.W. allotment of John Newman, now of Henry Spivy S.W. messuage an allotment purchased by William Wilkinson in tenure of Francis Brown with liberty for iv) to use said footpath and barrow way with other properties, and all appurtenancs Right of limitation to iv) To the use of v) during life of iv).
