- Scope and ContentJohn Fowler, one of the District Police for Beds – he was on duty at Turvey on 4 October. He saw Churchman there between 5 and 6pm, making a great noise in the street near the Tinker. Churchman offered to fight anyone. He asked Churchman to go away but he refused. He said he must. Churchman abused him and challenged him to fight. He put his hand on Churchman to induce him to go. Churchman struck him several times in the face. The next day when he served Churchman with the summons Churchman shoved up against him.
