1st mentioned in 1797 as part of St Neots Wesleyan circuit. Last early mention in circuit Stewart's account book 1810. Chapel built 1832, larger building added 1865. Early circuit registers covering Beeston are at Herts RO [reference NM4/52]. Still open in 2012. Circuits: St Neots Wesleyan, c.1800; Biggleswade and Hitchin to 1842; Biggleswade 1842-2010; North Bedfordshire 2010 to date.
