- Scope and ContentDuring the Quarter as compared with the corresponding Quarter of last year, there has been a decrease of crime generally throughout the County, and offences under the game laws have been much fewer than usual. Since my last report the new County Police Office and Station for Bedford Division have been occupied and I find the buildings most cnvenient and complete in every way. During the past quarter no men have left the force and three recruits having joined the force is complete in numbers. I am happy to state that the foot and mouth disease has not been prevalent during the last 3 months and there are now only 80 animals affected, and the majority of these are sheep.
