They have made the following provisional appointments: John Paton Hillhouse, hitherto porter of the prison, to be Chief Warder in the place of Peter Passmore resigned, at a salary of £80 per annum. James Doulton to be a Warder in the place of Henry King. Recommend that the salary of Thomas Hester, Clerk of the Prison, be raised from 16 s to £1 a week.
