- Scope and Content1) Walter potter, warder and cook has resigned and Daniel Sewell has been appointed. 2) James Evans, a prisoner whilst undergoing previous sentence was detected in stealing bread from the baker's cart in the prison for which offence the Visiting Justices directed a prosecution at the Assizes when he was convicted of the offence and sentenced by Mr Baron Martin to a month's imprisonment. 3) New scullery copper ordered £10.5.10. 4) Gas meter reapaired £5.15.0 5) Suggestion to buy the laundry drying apparatus from the Bedford Asylum, now closing. 6)Governor has incurred expenses of ten pounds removing to Hertford Assizes two prisoners charged with burglary, should be reimbursed.
